Salma Mones

Hi! My name is Salma Mones and I was born and raised in NYC. During my free time you can find me doing freelance work and testing out new beauty products, snacking on some hot Cheetos while watching my next favorite show on Netflix.
 

I am a proud City College of New York alumna where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Advertising and Public Relations with a minor in Journalism.

 

Since 2019, I’ve had the privilege of working at a variety of different workplace environments ranging from start-ups to large media agencies – where I was able to learn more about the marketing industry, how to utilize data to create/execute media strategies across TV, print, radio, OTT, OOH, and gain hands-on experience in media planning and social media content creation.

I have a total of 4+ years working in the marketing industry where I’ve worked at Good Light Cosmetics, Gallery Media Group, VaynerMedia, Horizon Media, Amsive Digital (formerly known as Path Interactive) and have worked with clients such as Optimum, OI-Glass, and Soko Glam.
